Sales Activities

Sales Activities Trigger makes your store look a lot busier, provides social proof and increases store’s credibility. You can set up two different type of triggers: Sales Snippet and Sales Count.

Sales Snippet

The Sales Snippet displays the Name & the Location of recent buyers of the product in the format:
John from Chicago, Taylor from Miami and 7 others bought this item recently.

The merge tag {{sales_snippet}} displays the text “Buyer A from Location X, Buyer B from Location Y and N others” based on order history for the entered period.

The verbiage of merge tag automatically changes based on the number of orders.

If Order Count is 1, Verbiage: Buyer A from Location X
If Order Count is 2, Verbiage: Buyer A from Location X and Buyer B from Location Y
If Order Count is 3 (or >3), Verbiage: Buyer A from Location X, Buyer B from Location Y and N others

Sales Count

The Sales Count displays the count of sales of the product. You can display custom messages like:
6 items sold in last 30 days
4 orders in last 2 days
30 people already bought this item
8 orders in last 1 day.Selling Fast!
You can display sales in these merge tags:

{{order_count}} displays total orders in given period
{{item_count}} displays total items sold in given period.

Note: A single order may have more than one unit of the same item.In this case , {{order_count}} will have separate figure from {{item_count}} .It is recommended to display the merge tag with the highest count.

Settings

Both the triggers have similar settings. The subtle difference is that they accept different merge tags and show different sales activity messages.

2. Modify text using merge tags.

3. Hide message if number of orders is less than certain number

4.Define background color

6.Choose text color

7.Adjust font size

8.Select the position to display this message.
